University System of Georgia's Ethics Awareness Week

Hello Trailblazer nation!

My name is Ingrid Thompson-Sellers and I serve as president here at Atlanta Metropolitan State College.

Atlanta Metropolitan State College will participate in the University System of Georgia's Ethics Awareness Week, scheduled for Nov. 6-12.

The purpose of this week is to remind employees of our commitment to an ethical culture and our shared ethical values and expectations. Ethics Awareness Week is part of a comprehensive Ethics and Compliance Program. This Program includes a system-level Ethics Policy and Code of Conduct, on-board ethics training, periodic ethics refresher training, compliance audits, special reviews and an Ethics and Compliance Reporting Hotline.

Throughout the week, activities and events will bring awareness to ethics, reinforce a culture that recognizes the hard work of all employees, and promote the shared values of integrity, excellence, accountability and respect among our campus community.

AMSC will be hosting daily trivia with giveaways and our guest speaker will be USG Josiah Heidt, Senior Legal Counsel. Chancellor Purdue will even have a virtual watch party.

Thanks to each of you for all you do to make an ethical culture!
