Verification

Once the Financial Aid Office at AMSC has received your FAFSA, you will be notified if you were selected for a process called verification. Additional information will be needed to verify the information you listed on your FAFSA. To help you complete verification you will have access to the online system designed to guide you in completing the requirements.

IMPORTANT: As a first-time user of this site, ALL students will need to select Create Account and establish an account using your preferred email (required for email notifications regarding your documents) and cell phone number (optional for text alerts regarding your documents).

Regularly check your account to monitor the status of your verification requirements. Please contact our office, if you have any questions.

Students who are selected for verification and submit documentation after these published deadlines may not have their financial aid verified in time to meet published payment deadlines. In this case, a student must be prepared to pay out of pocket and be reimbursed with the aid they are eligible to receive once the verification process is complete. The Atlanta Metropolitan State College Business Office publishes scheduled reimbursement deadlines for each semester.
