Thank you for your interest in continuing your education at Atlanta Metropolitan State College where students Believe, Begin and Become. AMSC provides for its students a unique campus atmosphere with a wide range of academic programs. The programs and services offered by the College are high in quality and comprehensive. Bachelor's, Associate of Science, Associate of Arts, and certificate programs are available. High School students can gain college credit through the Dual Enrollment Program.
Steps to College Admission
Step 1. Click here to complete and submit an admissions application to AMSC from the GAFutures webpage. Or, click here for a printable admissions application.
Step 2. Promptly submit all required admissions documents. The three most urgent documents are (1) a College transcripts if you are a transfer/transient student; a high school transcript if you are a high school student; and a GED certificate if you are a GED student, (2) immunization records (Click here for the form), (3) Proof of Lawful Presence, and (4) Financial Aid documents. See Step 3 below.
Step 3. Promptly complete the FAFSA form if you will request financial aid. You will need the school code - 012165. Read more on financial aid at the AMSC Financial Aid webpage.
Step 4. Click here for scheduling to take the ACCUPLACER test.
Guidelines for Document Submissions
Documents should be sent electronically following guidelines listed below:
- Official Transcript Submissions: All transcripts must come through a secured database (i.e., Parchment, Transcripts on Demand, Escip-safe, GAFutures, or National Student Clearinghouse) directly sent to the office
- List of documents that can be sent directly to the Admissions Office email:
- Lawful Presence, except Birth Certificates
- Marriage Certificate
- Test scores must be submitted by official testing administrative centers (i.e., College Board or ACT)
