ACCUPLACER

Accuplacer Placement Exam

ACCUPLACER is a suite of computer adaptive placement tests that measure students’ knowledge in math, reading and writing as they prepare to enroll in college-level courses. Placement scores help academic advisors recommend courses that are appropriate for students based on their strengths and needs in each subject matter.

Students with SAT or ACT scores should submit those scores to the Admissions Office before scheduling to take the ACCUPLACER exam. Documentation of minimum SAT (Math 400/Verbal & Critical Reading 430) or ACT (Math 17/English 17) scores might exempt students from ACCUPLACER placement testing.

The app provides access to interactive sample questions and immediate explanations to correct and incorrect answers. The web-based study app is free and can be used on either a computer or a Smartphone
