Emergency Assistance

For emergency assistance on campus use the following options, dial 911, use the Emergency Button Slider on the CampusShield Smartphone App, call 404-756-4040, from campus phones dial 4040, or use the call box if you are in the RED and GOLD LOT. The AMSC Police Department responds to all emergencies on campus and coordinates with local EMS and Fire service if needed.

What is an emergency? An emergency is any situation that requires IMMEDIATE police, fire, or medical response to preserve life or property. Use the emergency contact listed above to report incidents such as:

  • fires
  • explosions
  • chemical spills
  • assault or immediate danger of assault
  • severe injuries or illnesses
  • crimes in progress
  • someone choking or drowning.
