Congratulations to the Employees of the Month - September 2015
Dr. Alvin Harmon - Faculty Employee of the Month 
Dr. Harmon joined the AMSC family, June 1, 2007. He graduated from Morehouse College with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology, attended graduate school at Georgia State University receiving the Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Biology (Neuroscience), and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Emory University in the Department of Pharmacology. He currently serves as the Department Head of Science and Health Professions and the campus PI for the LSAMP program. Dr. Harmon and his wife are the proud parents of a six year old daughter and a three month old son. He is from Macon, Ga. and spent many summer days in Byromville, Ga. enjoying his time with grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, and family friends. He believes in the students the institution serves and is committed to helping them reach their educational and career goals.
Ms. Robin Mosby - Staff of the Month - 
Robin Mosby has been with Atlanta Metropolitan State College since November 1, 2000. She is AMSC Payroll Specialist in the Office of Fiscal Affairs. Born in a small town called Brooklyn, New York, Robin moved to Atlanta Georgia in 1993 and has been happily married for 29 years. She has 25 years of Higher Education payroll experience, 10 years at New York City Technical College and 15 years at AMSC. Robin is a proud Atlanta Metropolitan State College alumni, graduating Cum Laude receiving an Associate Degree in Business. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Kappa Beta Delta and a Certified Payroll Professional from the American Payroll Institute. Robin received Georgia Distinguished Alumnus award from Phi Theta Kappa. She has given back to the College by volunteering to run the AMSC’s concession stand for a basketball season. Robin is truly dedicated to employees getting paid.
