Thank you for your interest in continuing your education at Atlanta Metropolitan State College where students Believe, Begin and Become. AMSC provides for its students a unique campus atmosphere with a wide range of academic programs. The programs and services offered by the College are high in quality and comprehensive. Bachelor's, Associate of Science, Associate of Arts, and certificate programs are available. High School students can gain college credit through the Dual Enrollment Program.
Steps to College Admission
Step 1. Complete and submit the admissions application on the Georgia 411 webpage. Or, click here for a printable admissions application.
Step 2. Promptly submit all required admissions documents. The three most urgent documents are (1) a College transcripts if you are a transfer/transient student; a high school transcript if you are a high school student; and a GED certificate if you are a GED student, (2) immunization records (Click here for the form), (3) Proof of Lawful Presence, and (4) Financial Aid documents. See Step 3 below.
Step 3. Promptly complete the FAFSA form if you will request financial aid. You will need the school code - 012165. Read more on financial aid at the AMSC Financial Aid webpage.
Step 4. Click here to register for the College's admissions placement test, called COMPASS. Note: In some cases, students may be exempted from the placement exam, click here to determine if you are exempt from taking the COMPASS placement test and for placement information.
