Graduation Requirements

Each student who plans to graduate from Atlanta Metropolitan State College must complete the Graduation Application at least one semester prior to the term of degree completion.

You will be sent an evaluation of your course credits and advised of any requirements needed to graduate within 2 to 4 weeks after submission of the application. During peak time, this may be longer.

ALERT - Spring graduates' diplomas will be mailed early June. Please make certain we have your current mailing address on file by checking your STUDENT PORTAL BANNER account.

Diplomas and transcripts will not be released if you have a financial obligation or outstanding holds to the College. This obligation may range from outstanding balances to immunizations, fines at the library or a business office hold. You may check your holds on STUDENT PORTAL BANNER account. It is the student's responsibility to clear all holds or financial obligations.
