Atlanta Metropolitan State College will send all electronic communications to your AMSC Student email account. You can sign-in to your student email account using your complete AMSC email address and AMSC email password.
AMSC Brightspace / Desire2Learn (D2L) Learning Management System (LMS)

Atlanta Metropolitan State College students utilize the Brightspace / D2L LMS portal for access to all face to face as well as online courses at the college. You can sign-in to the AMSC Brightspace D2L LMS using your student email account user name and AMSC email password.
AMSC Wireless Access

Atlanta Metropolitan State College students may access campus wide wireless services using the Service Set Identifier (SSID) AMSC. You can sign-in to AMSC wireless using your student email account user name and AMSC email password.

The AMSC Student Portal is a system for students to access many required functions such as registering for classes, checking grades, viewing class schedule, verifying records, updating emergency contact information, etc. You can sign-in to the AMSC Student Portal using your student portal user name and AMSC portal pin.

The AMSC Student Portal Registration is a system for students to register for classes, viewing class schedule, browse all available classes, view college catalog, etc. You can sign-in to Student Portal Registration using your student email account user name and AMSC email password.
AMSC Student Portal DegreeWorks
Student Portal DegreeWorks
AMSC uses the DegreeWorks academic advising tool. DegreeWorks is a computerized degree audit program and academic advising tool designed to assist students and advisors in reviewing your program progress. DegreeWorks re-organizes your transcript chronologically and categorically, easily identifying courses you have completed and what courses you still need in order to fulfill your program requirements. DegreeWorks also assists student to:
- Determine what requirements students need to fulfill in order to complete their degree;
- View individual course grades, cumulative grade-point average (GPA), and major average;
- Determine which courses students have taken or transferred, and which ones count as electives;
-View transfer credits, waivers, and exemptions applied toward your program requirements;
- See how coursework could be applied toward another major;
- Confirm academic standing;
- Estimate how many semesters it will take to graduate;
- Learn the prerequisites and co-requisites for courses by clicking on the course numbers.
