In an effort to insure the success of minority businesses in Georgia, GAME provides statewide workshops that enhance the entrepreneur's ability to compete. These workshops also present wonderful opportunities for networking and securing procurement leads.

Networking Opportunities:

GAME offers a statewide network through relationships and long-standing partnerships with small business development centers, business leagues, local chambers of commerce and government agencies.

These efforts include:

• Encouraging the development of minority businesses in Georgia.
• Promoting the dissemination of information relevant to minority small business development.
• Fostering the growth and development of minority youth participation in business entrepreneurial operation.
• Increasing minority participation in the procurement process at the national, state, and local level.

GAME Legislative Day

This event provides an opportunity for interaction and informative exchange between representatives of African American business owners and community based organizations and their Georgia elected officials. Presentations by members of the Georgia House and Senate are followed by appointments with those legislative contacts who can address current business and community issues and/or relative legislation.

D.C. Fly-In

This activity provides the tools essential to leading the competition by forecasting new opportunities, sharing valuable information and unifying resources. This event brings together key officials from federal agencies and departments to discuss how your company can take advantage of the numerous opportunities available through the federal sector.
