Atlanta Metropolitan College’s Career Program in Computer Programming (Option I – Information Systems and Option II – Computer Analysis) offers an intensive curriculum designed to equip students with knowledge and skills required in a variety of work environments. To this end, students take courses in the areas of computer programming, computer applications and accounting. Students must also take appropriate general education courses which enhance critical thinking, computational and communication skills. Students also acquire work experience through cooperative education courses. These programs are supported by an excellent faculty and by computer laboratories, which are available in the evenings and on weekends.
